Russy Mehta is Chairman and Managing Director of Autogenous Welding Co. Pvt. Ltd – a 100-year-old family business which was the first private company to introduce welding in India, and which continues to be one of the most respected in India, even today.
He completed his schooling at to Cathedral School, where he was amongst the brightest in his class, and as also a keen sportsman throughout his school days, captaining the cricket team. He then proceeded to the UK to obtain his Engineering Degree in England.
A keen sportsman he has played for the Bombay Gymkhana team and has also represented The Willingdon Sports Club in golf at which game he is considered a master.
